


About me
Lucy Betts is a freelance Director and workshop facilitator with a particular passion for Actor-Musicianship. She won the 2022 OFFIE for Best Director (Plays) for her production of Lone Flyer at Jermyn Street Theatre.

Lucy is a Creative Associate at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury. In 2018 she was part of the Mid-Career Development Programme at Chichester Festival Theatre.
​
Lucy is Resident Director of ChewBoy Productions.
​
In 2020 Lucy collaborated with several skilled colleagues to set up Prologue Youth Theatre Company in Guildford, Surrey. They provide high-quality workshops to help young people develop their creative, social and personal skills.
She has also written for young performers – including musical adaptations of Just So Stories, The Secret Garden and The Railway Children.
